Our Kindergarten Bundle includes 24 video lessons that are designed to be used in your classroom throughout the school year. We recommend beginning the school year by introducing and establishing your classroom routines with our Classroom Expectations Bundle. After expectations have been established, begin using the kindergarten episodes to introduce and teach your students about the character traits of kindness, respect, honesty, teamwork, perseverance, and empathy.
We created an episode calendar to support teacher planning. The lesson sequence we created introduces kindergarteners to each of the character traits. Then the episodes cycle through the traits in the same order, teaching students about how each of the traits can be exemplified at school, in the community, and by kid role models. The sequence is just a suggestion, and episodes can be played in a different order while still having the same positive impact on student learning.
The calendar includes links to each episode and can be saved on your desktop so you can easily navigate to the episode you’d like to play for your students by simply clicking on the title. The calendar is available as a pdf file and as Google Slides.
