Our First Grade Bundle includes 36 video lessons that are designed to be used in your classroom on a weekly basis throughout the school year. We recommend establishing a consistent routine with The Character Tree by watching each new video lesson at the beginning of the week. Try watching the episodes every Monday or every Tuesday for “Trait Tuesday”. Whatever routine works for your schedule, your students will quickly begin to anticipate and look forward to getting to watch a new episode each week!
We’ve created an episode calendar to support teacher planning. When creating the calendar we considered seasonal themes, holidays, and important months such as Black History Month. The sequence is merely a suggestion, and episodes can be played in a different order while still having the same positive impact on student learning.
The calendar includes links to each episode and can be saved on your desktop so you can easily navigate to the episode you’d like to play for your students by simply clicking on the title. The calendar is available as a pdf file and as Google Slides.
